Backing Up and Restoring the Portal

The portal is installed as an application on the AS Java. Therefore, you can back up the portal by backing up the AS Java and relevant databases. This prevents data loss and is essential for the recovery of the server after a system malfunction.

Portal components and their configurations are interdependent, meaning that they need to be backed up together. Performing a full backup means that you can easily restore portal components and enable the portal to recover from a complete system loss.
