Use

Using the navigation area you can get an overview of the configuration objects and quickly access configuration objects.

You can choose the following tab pages:

Objects Tab Page

Using this tab page you can access the configuration objects using different views.

You can set the view you want using the folder-view pushbutton (in the pushbutton area of the tab page).

View

Description

Object views

Displays all the configuration objects grouped according to object type.

This view is set when calling the Integration Builder.

No folders are displayed in this view.

Communication channels are grouped in this view under the communication components that they are assigned to.

You can group receiver determinations, interface determinations, sender agreements, receiver agreements, direct connection, and integrated configurations further according to their key attributes (for example, according to interface, sender, or receiver).

Configuration scenario view

Displays all the objects grouped according to configuration scenarios.

All objects of a configuration scenario are displayed in a flat list (without further grouping according to object types).

If a configuration scenario contains more than 50 objects of the same type then these objects are automatically grouped according to object type.

If you want to group the objects of a configuration scenario according to object type, position the cursor on the configuration scenario and select Start of the navigation path Grouping Next navigation step Group According to Object Type End of the navigation path in the context menu.

When grouping according to object type you can make further sub groups by positioning you cursor on the object type and then calling the relevant function in the Grouping context menu.

Objects that were not assigned to a configuration scenario are listed in the Lost and Found Objects folder (grouped according to object type).

Folder view

Displays all the objects grouped according to folders.

All objects of a folder are displayed in a flat list (without further grouping according to object types).

If a folder contains more than 50 objects of the same type then these objects are automatically grouped according to object type.

If you want to group the objects of a folder according to object type, position the cursor on the folder and select Start of the navigation path Grouping Next navigation step Group According to Object Type End of the navigation path in the context menu.

When grouping according to object type you can make further sub groups by positioning you cursor on the object type and then calling the relevant function in the Grouping context menu.

Objects that were not assigned to a folder are listed in the Lost and Found Objects folder (grouped according to object type).

A lost and found object can occur in the following situations:

  • You have deleted the folder that an object was assigned to but not the object itself.

  • You have transported an object but not the folder that the object was assigned to.

  • If you delete a folder, all the objects from this folder are released to the change list for deletion. If you then undo the deletion of the object but release the deletion of the folder, lost and found objects occur.

Note

To create a new folder, call the create dialog box and select Administration Folder .

Tab Page Change Lists

Using this tab page you can access the change lists for the objects in the Integration Directory.

For more information, see: Mit Änderungslisten arbeiten

Additional Functions

In the pushbutton area of both tab pages you will find further functions to better deal with the objects.

  • You can display an individual subtree and hide all other objects ( Only Display Selected Subtree / Display Previous Subtree ).

  • You can compress subtrees or expand and sort objects.

  • You can search for objects ( Open Search ).

When you position the cursor on a node, further options are available to you which are described under the individual object types.

You can apply the same context menu function to multiple objects at the same time. To do so, select the objects with the cursor and while holding down the SHIFT key, call the function in the context menu.
