Manual Configuration
For SAP NetWeaver PI-AE, PI-AEX, and PI-PCK, you need to use the CTC Wizard to perform the basic configuration. For SAP NetWeaver PI, you have the option to perform the basic configuration manually. The configuration steps are described in the section: Manual Configuration for Usage Type PI
Single Sign-On
SAP NetWeaver PI is based on the usage types Application Server ABAP and Java. For this reason, in an SAP NetWeaver installation, Single Sign-On needs to be configured for AS ABAP and Java.
For more information, see SAP Note
1473556
(Configuring SSO Between AS ABAP and AS Java).
The CTC Wizard overwrites any existing configuration settings. For this reason, it is not recommended that you run the CTC Wizard on a system that is being actively used.
To start the CTC Wizard, perform the following steps:
Start the SAP NetWeaver Administrator.
Specify the following information in your browser: http://<host>:<httpport>/nwa
Choose .
Follow the instructions on the screen.
