Configuring the Dictionary Perspective

Set a default prefix for your dictionary objects

Enter a prefix in the Prefix field.

Display database default values as a column in the table editor

Select the Show DB default property in column table view checkbox.

Open the relevant editor immediately after creating a Dictionary object

Select the Open editor after creating objects checkbox.

Enable or disable error icons propagation in the Dictionary Explorer

Select or deselect the Propagate error icons in Dictionary Explorer checkbox.

Disable or enable project deprecation warnings

Select or deselect the Disable warning dialog for local projects. checkbox.

Disable or enable usage of compiled templates

1. Choose  Dictionary  Building  in the preferences tree.

2. Deselect or select the Use compiled templates checkbox, respectively.

   Recommendation

   We recommend that you use compiled templates as this speeds up the generation process.

Disable or enable comparison of archives contained in the IDE and archives used during the build process

1. Choose  Dictionary  Building  in the preferences tree.

2. Deselect or select the Enable archive version checks checkbox, respectively.

Apply the new settings

Choose Apply , then choose OK .
