
You can use the Console at the bottom of the Storyboard desktop to view error and warning messages. For more detailed information, you can view the log files on the server.
Viewing Log Files in the Console
You can show or hide the Console in Storyboard by choosing . Error and warning messages are displayed in the Console as they occur.
Viewing Log Files on the Server
You can view the log files on the server in one of the following ways:
If you can access the log folder on the server file system:
Navigate to the log folder on the server (for example, c:\usr\sap\CE1\J01\j2ee\cluster\server0\log ).
Open the latest defaultTrace and applications log files and check for related exceptions and error messages.
If you cannot access the log folder on the server file system:
Open SAP NetWeaver Administrator on your SAP NetWeaver server ( http://<hostname>:<port>/nwa ).
Choose Availability and Performance Management and then click Log Viewer .
In the Show dropdown list, select General View and SAP Logs (Java) .
Check for related exceptions and error messages.
