Customizing the Search ResultsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

You can set additional limitations to the search result in the UDDI registry.

Procedure


  1. Choose Inquiry .

  2. From the dropdown list, select an entity type to browse.

  3. Specify name and language of the entity.

    Language identifiers are defined by IETF RFC 3066.

  4. Select Advanced Search Options and on Find Qualifiers tab set one or more of the following options:

    • Match Type

      Specify if the search is by exact or approximate match. The approximate qualifier allows wildcards to be used in the UDDI inquiries.

    • Case Sensitive Match

      Specify case sensitivity or insensitivity of the entity names.

    • Diacritic Type Match

      Specify if the search includes diacritic signs. For example, Ü, Ö, Ä, and so on. Diacritic in the search argument(s) must match diacritic in the UDDI data.

    • Key Options

      You can set the following options:

      • OR All - The system performs a logical OR on the entries prior to performing the search.

      • AND All - The system performs a logical AND on the entries prior to performing the search.

      • OR Like - The system performs a logical OR on any entry contents that share the same value set, as specified by the tModel key, and the system performs an AND between designated value sets prior to performing the search.

    • Case Sensitive Sort

      Specifies if the result is sorted according to case.

    • Sorting by Date

      Specifies if the result set is sorted by the last date updated in ascending or descending chronological order (earliest changes first).

    • Sorting by Name

      Specifies if the result set is sorted by name in ascending or descending order.

  5. Choose Find .

    The result is displayed according to the specified settings.

  6. Click on the UDDI key link to display details for the result.
