Creating tModels and Business EntitiesLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

A tModel is an entity that describes and stores technical data for a Web service type, a protocol used by Web services, or a category system.

A business entity is an entity that represents businesses and providers within a UDDI registry. It contains descriptive information about the business or provider, such as names, descriptions in multiple languages, contact information, the services it offers, and so on.

Procedure


  1. Choose Publish .

  2. Enter user name and password for the SAP NetWeaver AS for Java and choose OK .

    The page for publishing is loaded.

  3. If you want to create a tModel, choose Retrieve my tModels , if you want to create a business model, choose Retrieve my Businesses .

    A list of all tModels or business entities published to the registry by your user is displayed.

    Note

    In case the system does not display the tModels you have published before, you should increase the value of the Max Rows In Find Response Node parameter in the UDDI servers settings. For more information, see Configuring Security Policy Properties .

  4. Choose Add .

    A new line is added to the bottom of the list with <Generated UDDI key> key name.

  5. Choose Save .

    The tModel or business entity is saved and a key is generated with a random name.

    A generated UDDI key cannot be changed.

Results

A tModel or business entity is created. If you want to provide setting for a UDDI key, refer to Setting UDDI Keys Using the Key Generator .
