Creating the SWCVLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

You create the software component version (SWCV) for storing versions of data object definitions and distribution models that you create later in the tutorial. An SWCV is required before you create data objects.

Procedure


  1. Log on to SAP NetWeaver Application Server and choose Start of the navigation path Data Orchestration Engine Next navigation step Development  Next navigation step  Data Orchestration Workbench End of the navigation path.

  2. Choose Create SWCV .

  3. Enter the following details in the appropriate fields:

    Field name

    Value

    Name

    Sample

    Vendor

    E xample .org

    Version

    1.0

    1. Choose Save .

    2. Choose Local Object .

      Note

      You save it as a local object because this is meant for a tutorial, and this is not imported to a productive landscape.
