Running Mobile Applications for LaptopLocate this document in the navigation structure

Prerequisites

You have:

  • Deployed the project

  • A valid user name and password to access the mobile client

Procedure


  1. In the Laptop UI explorer, choose Start of the navigation path Run  Next navigation step Run...  End of the navigation path

  2. Select Mobile Applications for Laptop configuration, and choose New .

  3. Enter a name for the run configuration.

  4. Select the name of the project and the mobile application that you want to run.

  5. Choose Run .

    The application starts in the mobile client for laptops.

    Note

    Alternatively, you can start running the application from the context menu of the application node. To run the application, click the application node with the secondary mouse button and choose Run .

    For the application to start automatically, the User Authentication Settings - Login Automatically into Mobile Client option in the Preferences must be selected. If it is not selected, you must log on into the mobile client for laptops , and then select the application that you want to run. This also applies when you debug the application.

    To exit the mobile client for laptops and return to the development environment, choose Start of the navigation path File Next navigation step Quit End of the navigation path.
