Building, Deploying and Running the ApplicationLocate this document in the navigation structure

Context

After you create the application, you build the application to create the binaries. You then create the archive format of the file (.EAR). This is the format recognized by your mobile client for laptop. You can deploy and run the application from the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.

Procedure


  1. In the Laptop UI explorer, click the s erva pp development component with the secondary mouse button and choose Start of the navigation path Development  Next navigation step Build End of the navigation path.

  2. In the Laptop UI explorer, click the s erva pp development component with the secondary mouse button and choose Create Archive .

  3. In the Laptop UI Explorer, click the application element with the secondary mouse button and choose Deploy .

  4. Choose Start of the navigation path Run Next navigation step Run...  End of the navigation path

  5. Double-click Mobile Applications for Laptop configuration, and choose New .

  6. Enter ServiceApp as the name for the run configuration.

  7. Browse and select s ervapp as the project, and CustomerService as the mobile application.

  8. Choose Run .
