Procedure

The following table explains the operations that you can perform on a data object node.

What You Should Know

Displaying a node

Click the data object node with the secondary mouse button and choose Display .

Displays the details of the node.

Modifying a data object node

Click the data object node with the secondary mouse button and choose Change .

Allows you to modify an exiting node.

Adding a child node

Click the data object node with the secondary mouse button and choose Add a Child Node .

Adds a new child node under an existing node.

Viewing associations

Click the data object node with the secondary mouse button and choose View Associations .

Allows you to view the associations that are defined for a particular node.

Deleting a node

Click the data object node with the secondary mouse button and choose Delete .

Deletes the node along with the node attributes and node associations (if any).

Copying a data object node

Click the data object node with the secondary mouse button and choose Copy Node .

Allows you to copy a node to a target data object within the same software component version or a different software component version.
