Deploying the EARLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

Deploying the EAR file results in the automatic deployment of all JMS resources defined in the jms-resources.xml descriptor. The descriptor is packed in the EAR file on the same level as the EJB archive and must be under the META-INF directory.

Procedure

  1. Open the Servers view. To do this, choose Start of the navigation path Window Next navigation step Show View Next navigation step Servers End of the navigation path.

  2. In the Servers view, select SAP Server .

  3. In the context menu of the SAP Server , choose Add and Remove .

  4. Select MDBEAR from the Available list, then choose Add> .

    MDBEAR appears in the Configured list.

  5. Choose Finish .

  6. If necessary, provide a user name and password to be used for connecting to the application server.

Result

You have successfully deployed the EAR. To test your application, you have to create a JMS client to send messages to the MDB.
