-u|-user

This BRRECOVER command option defines the user name and password with which BRRECOVER connects to the database. The user must have SYSDBA privileges.

-u|-user [<user>[/<password>]|/]
         

Default value: system/<default_password>

If the OS user belongs to the dba group, you do not need to specify <user> and <password>, simply enter -u /.
