Leaving a WorklistLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

When you log off the system, your worklist is retained. This saves system performance and means that when you log onto the system again, you can continue processing the objects that you fetched when you last called up a worklist.

We recommend that you do not log off the system directly from the worklist screen. Instead, you should leave the worklist first. When you leave the worklist, you can keep or release it.

Procedure

If you are in the worklist and want to log off the system, proceed as follows:

  1. In the worklist, choose Back or Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Back End of the navigation path.

  2. The system displays the Exit Worklist dialog box.

    • If you want to access these objects again later, choose Keep Worklist .

This takes you to the initial screen of transaction SE63, and you can log off the system in the usual way. The objects are still reserved in your worklist.

    • To release the objects from your worklist, choose Release WL .

This takes you to the initial screen of transaction SE63, and you can log off the system in the usual way. The system has removed the objects from your worklist.

    • If you do not want to leave your worklist, choose Do Not Leave .

If you chose Keep Worklist in the Exit Worklist dialog box, you can access the objects again as follows:

  1. In the initial screen of transaction SE63, choose Start of the navigation path Worklist Next navigation step Standard End of the navigation path.

  2. Check the settings in the My Worklist: Parameters dialog box, and do not select the Reset Worklist/Reservation checkbox.

  3. Choose Copy .

You are taken to the worklist screen with your reserved objects.
