Start Application for liveCache: MonitoringLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

As a possible user-specific setting in the liveCache Assistant, you can define the start application for the monitoring and administration of the SAP liveCache using liveCache: Monitoring.

Prerequisites

The user has been assigned a role in accordance with the authorization concept.

Procedure

  1. In the user menu, choose liveCache Assistant (transaction  LC10).

  2. Choose Start of the navigation path Goto Next navigation step Settings End of the navigation path.

  3. Choose Initial Screen.

  4. You have the following options:

    Select Start Application. From the list of possible applications, choose the application that should always be executed first when liveCache: Monitoring is started.

    Select Do Not Run a Start Application if no application is to be started.

Result

Depending on your selection, the selected start application or no start application is started every time the application liveCache: Monitoring is started.

If one of the critical database states "Data or Log Area Is Full" occurs, the application Properties is started irrespective of these settings to make you aware of this status.
