Use

In addition to a large number of other tools for database administration, the CCMS contains a Database Alert Monitor or liveCache Alert Monitor for each database.

Integration

  • SAP MaxDB: In the user menu, select Start of the navigation path Database: Monitoring and Configuration Next navigation step CCMS Monitoring End of the navigation path (transaction RZ20).

  • SAP liveCache Technology: In the user menu, choose CCMS Monitoring (transaction RZ20).

Prerequisites

Prerequisites

SAP liveCache Technology: The user has been assigned a role in accordance with the authorization concept. You can reach the user menu of the user with the authorizations that correspond to his or her role.

Features

If alert monitoring has not yet been activated (for example, by calling the datbase Alert Monitor in the database assistant or the liveCache Alert Monitor in the liveCache Assistant) you need to activate the Alert Monitor and add the database connection to the Alert Monitor.

To do this, proceed as described in Database Alert Monitor or liveCache Alert Monitor.
