Use

The Messages user menu contains, among other things, the log of the X Server (remote SQL server log).

If network problems occur between an application server and the database computer, these problems and errors are stored in the X server log.

Procedure

Open the Database Assistant (transaction DB50) or the liveCache Assistant (transaction LC10). Choose Start of the navigation path Problem Analysis Next navigation step Messages Next navigation step Remote SQL Server End of the navigation path.

Open the DBA Cockpit (transaction code DBACOCKPIT) and choose Start of the navigation path Diagnosis Next navigation step Messages Next navigation step Remote SQL Server End of the navigation path.

Result

Check the log.
