OMS VersionsLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

In the Performance user menu, you can find, among other things, a display of the OMS versions since the last start of liveCache Monitoring.

Prerequisites

The user has been assigned a role in accordance with the authorization concept. You can reach the user menu of the user with the authorizations that correspond to his or her role.

The SAP liveCache database is in the ONLINE operational state.

Procedure

  1. In the user menu, choose liveCache Assistant (transaction  LC10).

  2. Enter the name of the database connection. You can select the name from the list of existing names. You can restrict the search for the required name.

  3. Choose Start of the navigation path liveCache Next navigation step Monitoring End of the navigation path.

  4. Choose Start of the navigation path Problem Analysis Next navigation step Performance Next navigation step OMS Versions End of the navigation path.

or

Open the DBA Cockpit (transaction DBACOCKPIT) and choose Start of the navigation path Performance Next navigation step OMS Versions End of the navigation path.

Result

Among other things, the following information is displayed for all OMS versions:

Memory Consumption

Current usage of the OMS heap

More information: Glossary, OMS Heap

Age (Hours)

Age of the OMS version

Time

Time at which the OMS version was generated

Rolled Out

YES: The OMS version has been displaced from the OMS heap, since the limit of one of the database parameters OmsHeapThreshold or OmsVersionThreshold has been reached.

Pages Rolled Out

Displays the number of pages displaced from the OMS heap
