We recommend that you use one of the following tools to start and stop Database Analyzer.

• CCMS (in SAP systems only)

  DBA Cockpit, Database Analyzer

• Database Studio

  Database Studio, Starting or Stopping Database Analyzer

• Database Manager CLI

  Database Manager CLI, Analyzing Databases

Calling Database Analyzer on the command line is possible. To get more information about this possibility use the command dbanalyzer -? on the command line.
