In the backup history, the database system chronologically logs information about all the actions it carried out when backing up and restoring a database.
The database system writes the backup history to the following files:
For backups without third-party backup tools, to the dbm.knl log file (backup history)
For backups using third-party backup tools, to the dbm.ebf log file (external backup history)
