Using the Set Filter Values Using Filtercommand (SET_SELECTION_STATE_BY_FILTER), at the runtime for a Web application, you can apply a filter to a data provider.
The following information lists the command parameters in the same sequence that they appear in the Command Wizard when you insert the command:

Target Data Providers (TARGET_DATA_PROVIDER_REF_LIST) |
You enter a list of all data providers on which the command is based. You specify the individual data providers in the Data Provided Affected parameter (TARGET_DATA_PROVIDER_REF). |
Variables Screen (VARIABLE_SCREEN) |
You use this parameter to specify whether the Variables screen is to be displayed. If you do not specify a value, the Variables screen is displayed only if mandatory variables are not filled. |
Initialize With (SELECTOR_INITIAL_STATE) |
You use this parameter to specify how the filter values are to be displayed. Query (QUERY) If you choose this option, you can select a query using the open dialog. Filter (SELECTION_OBJECT) If you choose this option, you can select a filter using the open dialog. InfoProvider (INFOPROVIDER) If you choose this option, you can select an InfoProvider using the open dialog. Filter View(SELECTION_VIEW) If you choose this option, you can select a filter or a query view. Property List (NAMED_PROPERTY_LIST) If you choose this option, you can enter a list of parameters. You must enter the technical name and value for each parameter. You can therefore connect external data sources by using name-value parameters to specify the schema or InfoCube. Variant (VARIABLE_VARIANT) |
You use this parameter to specify a variant for the variable. |
Variable Value (VARIABLE_VALUES) |
You use this parameter to enter a list of variable values. You must also set additional parameters for each variable value (VARIABLE_VALUE). For more information, see Set Variable Values . |
