MultiProviders

When MultiProviders are activated, a check is made to establish whether the identification of characteristics and navigation attributes is consistent in terms of compounding.

MultiProviders defined with SAP BW 3.x can cause errors. It might not be possible to activate them any more. If this happens, you should check the definition and modify it if necessary.

Report RSCOMPCONS helps you to identify inconsistent MultiProviders. When you execute the report, it lists MultiProviders with inconsistent compounding. You can navigate directly from the report to object maintenance to correct the object. The relevant steps required are explained in the error message descriptions provided when the MultiProvider is checked.
