Reporting Agent

Description

No more new developments are being made for the Reporting Agent. The Reporting Agent functions are now covered by Information Broadcasting, SAP NetWeaver Portal and the Alert Framework. The Reporting Agent has been removed from the Data Warehousing Workbench. You can still maintain the Reporting Agent settings using transaction REPORTING_AGENT. These settings can be maintained for queries and Web templates from SAP BW 3.x only.

General Practices with Migration

The system does not support the migration of Reporting Agent settings for information broadcasting.
