
Each room is assigned to a room type. In the room template, the room type that the system specifies as a modifiable default value during room creation is defined. You can also enter a fixed room type.
The room type controls:
User registration comprises adding the user to the member list for the room and assigning at least one room role. Depending on the room type concerned, either the room owner registers members or registration is done automatically.

Public pages in a room, which all portal users can view, make particular sense in restricted rooms. This allows portal users who are not members of a room to find out about the project work managed in the room.
