Modifying the Uploadable File SizeLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

By default, the maximum file size that can be uploaded to the Web Resource Repository is 4069 KB (4MB). The system administrator can modify this value in SAP NetWeaver Administrator.

Prerequisites

You have been assigned the appropriate permissions to access and modify properties in SAP NetWeaver Administrator.

Procedure

  1. Open SAP NetWeaver Administrator using either of the following methods:

    • Use the URL to your AS Java ( hostname:port ) to access the AS Java home page and use the link to SAP NetWeaver Administrator.

    • Add nwa to the AS Java URL to access SAP NetWeaver Administrator directly ( hostname:port/nwa ).

  2. Choose Application Modules .

  3. In the Module List area, select com.sap.portal.webresourceservice .

  4. In the Web Module Details area, in the Components tab, select WebResourceRepositorySrv .

  5. In the Portal Service Details area, modify the default value for the Maximum Resource File Size (KB) property to change the maximum file size for individual resource files.

  6. Choose Save .

Note

To make this change immediately affect all server nodes in a clustered environment, restart the WebResourceRepositorySrv service.
