Viewing Resources Stored in the Web Resource RepositoryLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

You can view any of the resource files stored in the Web Resource Repository. Each file opens in an operating system application that was defined on your local file system to use for opening this type of resource (for example, a .css file opens in Notepad).

Prerequisites

You have been assigned the Content Administrator role.

Procedure

  1. Choose Start of the navigation path Content Administration Next navigation step Web Resource Repository End of the navigation path .

  2. In the Portal Catalog, expand the Web Resources node and navigate to the resource that you want to view.

  3. From the context menu of the selected resource, choose View Resource . The resource opens in a new window, according to the file type associations defined on your file system.

Note

If you want to modify the file that you have opened, we recommend that you download it, modify it, and then upload it again.
