Two types of errors can occur:

  • Connection errors

    The TREX admin tool (stand-alone) is unable to connect to at least one SAP system. Therefore, it cannot check the consistency of the RFC configuration and does not display the configuration status.

    You must correct connection errors manually. For more information, seeConnection Errors.

  • Configuration errors

    The TREX admin tool is able to connect to all SAP systems, but finds errors in the RFC configuration.

    If you have activated the TREX alert server, most configuration errors are corrected automatically. You must manually correct errors that the TREX alert server cannot correct automatically. For more information, seeConfiguration Errors.
