You use this procedure to enable end-to-end tracing support on the mobile client. This helps you to analyze performance bottlenecks in an efficient manner. End-to-end tracing captures all transactions that take place between the client and the Data Orchestration Engine (DOE). When you enable end-to-end tracing on the client, the Client Framework Service (CFS) creates a trace file for the current synchronization cycle to record these transactions. This file is saved in XML format. In order to consume this information for performance analysis, the XML file has to be uploaded to the SAP Solution Manager system.
Launch the client.
Enter the User ID and Password .
Choose Log On .
Choose Settings .
Choose .
Select Enable end-to-end tracing .
Choose Save .
Choose Home to navigate to the home page.
Synchronize the client with the DOE.
Navigate to the client folder on your system and choose the folder e2e. You will find the Business Transaction XML file here.
You can upload the Business Transaction XML file to SAP Solution Manager.
You must enable end-to-end tracing support for every synchronization cycle between the client and the DOE.
