This section describes all new features, enhancements, and changes for Security in Support Package Stack 8.

RemoteLoginWhitelist Property

New

To set policy configurations for remote login in a remote login context, you have to use a property named RemoteLoginWhitelist. This property tells the client in the secure network, which configurations of the remote login are allowed for secure communication.

TrustedP4Port Property

New

To ensure user authentication with credentials such as user name and password , use the P4 remote protocol. Some specific scenarios require you to set this P4 port number as a value of the property TrustedP4Port.

SAML 2.0: Federation Types for Federating Identities

Enhanced

To ensure secure transmission of the supplied logon details, such as user name and password or certificate, use the P4 remote protocol over a secure socket layer (SSL) with a secure server port that requires a client certificate. Some specific scenarios require you to set this port number as a value of the property TrustedP4SPort.

SAML 2.0: A New Tab for the Identity Provider Proxy Settings

Enhanced

The field for setting the proxy count has moved to a new tab named Proxying Settings . The tab is located under Start of the navigation path Authentication and Single Sign-On Next navigation step SAML 2.0 Next navigation step Local Provider End of the navigation path.
