Defining a CMS Communication UserLocate this document in the navigation structure

Use

You perform this step to define a dedicated user for the communication with the Change Management Service (CMS).

This is an optional step. You only need to perform this step if you want to use CMS for transporting your ES Repository objects.

Prerequisites

You have configured CMS to be able to use it for the transport of your ES Repository objects.

Procedure

Perform the following steps:

  1. Access the ES Repository system properties as described under Additional Manual Configuration .
  2. Search for the following properties:
    • com.sap.aii.repository.serviceuser.name.cms
    • com.sap.aii.repository.serviceuser.pwd.cms
  3. Specify the name and password of the ES Repository service user for CMS communication ESRCMS<SID>.
  4. Save your entries.
