An Application Toolbar
is located at the top right corner of each grid and by default contains the following icons:
Data
:
You can export data for the specified grid in one of the following formats:
HTML
CSV
XML
Current Values
: Displays the current values for all the tags available in the query. The values are displayed in HTML format in new window.
Statistics
: Displays the statistical values for all the tags available in the query. The values are displayed in HTML format in new window.
Note
Current Values
and Statistics
options are enabled only for queries that support these modes. In other words, these options are available only for Tag
, PCo
and Catalog
queries.
Refresh Rate
: This number in seconds defines the frequency at which the grid is refreshed.
Configure Display Parameters
: Adds additional parameters to the display template and configure the values. These values will precede the existing values that are available in the display template definition. The parameter selection dialog box displays all the parameters along with the descriptions. All the available parameters for the selected display template are displayed and the checkboxes are highlighted for the selected parameters. You can also deselect the parameters from the parameter selection box. You can delete the added parameters or all the parameters from the selected display template. To add parameters follow steps 4-9 from the Activities
section of Display Templates.

Refresh Automatically
: Refreshes the grid as per the frequency specified in the Refresh Rate

Print
: Opens a dialog box to print the rows that are visible in the preview.
Help
: Displays the application help.
To display or hide the timebar, use Display Timebar
.
The grid area displays a timebar for all query-based data. The grids are refreshed accordingly based on the selected date-time ranges. The arrows on the timebar display the charts either in full screen, quarter screen, or for the current data. You can define the date range, Start Date
and End Date
, in the query template configuration or by using the Date/Time Picker
in the timebar. The properties of the timebar are as follows:
Slider
: On moving the slider back and forth, the grid is refreshed using the data available on the slider. On releasing the slider, the grid is refreshed with the current date and time available in the Date/Time Picker
.

: The double arrow buttons scroll the grid forward or backward by the full length of the initial duration.
,
: Single arrow buttons scroll the grid forward or backward by one fourth the length of the initial duration.
: Grid is plotted for the current Start Date
and End Date
as configured in the query.
Date/Time Picker
: The Start Date/Time
and End Date/Time
displays the current date and time as selected by the time slider.
You can choose the pre-defined periods from the Time Period
column. On selecting the pre-defined time periods, the Start
and End
columns are disabled as these are already specified. For more details on the available periods, see Time Periods. You can customize the Start
and End
duration by choosing Custom
from the Time Period
column.
The Time Period
field displays the localized time period titles, if available. For more details on creating and localizing time periods, see Time Periods and Localization.
