You can provide correct values to the input fields using Value help. The Value help dialog prompts you with possible values in tabular format where you can select the one or multiple rows from the table.

Prerequisites

You must have a query template.

Features

You can configure i5ValueHelp properties on the following screens:

  • General

  • Search Results

  • Search Criteria

  • Template Security

Result

On executing an i5Valuehelp, the selected fields and their values from the selected query and the filter criteria for the selected fields are displayed. The first text area displays the chosen customized parameters used to filter the values of the query fields. You can view or hide the filters by choosing Show/Hide Filter Bar. The second text area Items, displays the selected fields from the selected query along with their values. You can further filter the results of the query based on the customized parameters.
