You use the Catalog Query in SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII) to create templates that access the Plant Information Catalog connectors and Virtual Catalog connectors and provide the following data:

  • Current Values

  • Historical (Time series) values

  • GroupList

  • TagList

  • HistoryEvent

  • ModeList

  • RetrieveProperties

  • Statistics

  • PICAnalysis

A Plant Information Catalog query is made up of following property groups:

Activities

To create a catalog query, do the following:

  1. On the SAP MII Workbench, choose Start of the navigation path File Next navigation step New Next navigation step CatalogQuery. End of the navigation path

    The DataSource screen of the Plant Information Catalog query appears.

  2. Select one or more servers from the Available Servers field.

  3. Choose a mode from the Modes field.

    Note Note

    PICAnalysis mode is not supported for multiple server selection.

  4. In the Template Categories tab choose:

You must save the query on the Catalog tab in the appropriate project and folder.

To test the Catalog query, choose Start of the navigation path Tools Next navigation step Test. End of the navigation path
