Transaction Attributes

You can use transaction attributes to save and read information about each transaction.

Features

The system default attributes are listed in the following table:

Category	Transaction category
Comments	User comments
ConvertNullXPathResultsToEmptyStrings	Converts a null node from an XPath expression to an empty string
CreatedBy	User who created the transaction
CreationDate	Date when the transaction was created
Description	Description of the transaction
LastEditedBy	User who edited the transaction last
LastEditedDate	Date when the transaction was edited last
LegacyProcessingMode	Runs the transaction as the 12.0 system would have. We do not recommend using this setting for new transactions.
Status	Deployment status of the transaction
ThrowOnActionError	Throws an exception when an error occurs for an action
ThrowOnLinkError	Throws an exception when an error occurs for a link

The CreatedBy and CreationDate values default to the user that is logged on and the current time. The LastEditedBy and LastEditedDate values are updated each time the transaction is saved.

Activities

If you are developing a transaction, you can maintain transaction attributes. To work with transaction attributes on the SAP MII Workbench screen, choose Start of the navigation path Transaction Next navigation step Attributes End of the navigation path .
