You can create customized extensions for SSCE that can be displayed along with default tabs such as MII Content, PIC, and so on. You can also store objects in the customized tabs and move the objects to your dashboard. For this, you must create the relevant extension files in SAP MII Workbench. For more details, see Creating Customized Tabs in Activities section.

Creating Customized Tabs

To create a customized tab, do the following:

  1. Create a project.

    For details, see Projects.

  2. From the MetaInf tab, choose SSCEEXtn.extn.

  3. Enter the name in the Name field.

  4. You can browse for the js file in the Path field.

    To create a js file, see Creating a Javascript File for Customized Tabs in SSCE.

  5. Enter a description in the Description field.

  6. Select Enabled.
