On this tab, you specify the message delivery configuration for the notifications. In other words, specifies how you want PCo to deliver notification messages.

Features

The following 4 tabs are available:

  • Reliability: Specifies the settings for reliable message delivery

  • Failed Messages: Defines the order how you want to store failed notification messages.

  • Lifetime: Specifies how long you want the messages in the queue

  • Message Bundling: Specifies the number of notification messages that can be bundled to one single notification message and sent to the connected destination system.

Activities

On the Message Delivery tab, do the following:

  1. In Reliability tab, enter the following:

    • Maximum Number of Retries: Maximum number of send attempts before the notification is failed. Maximum number is 3.

    • Retry Interval (seconds): Duration in seconds after which the message is sent.

  2. In Failed Messages, enter the following:

    • Message Persistence: Currently, you can choose KeepLast or KeepFirst. KeepLast saves the most recent failed message whereas KeepFirst saves the first failed message.

    • Delete Messages After (minutes): Displays the messages after the specified durations in minutes

  3. The Lifetime tab specifies how long you want the messages in the queue. You can specify in days, hours, and minutes.

  4. In Message Bundling tab, you can enable or disable the number of messages and the accumulation time. If you select On, enter the number of messages to be bundled in Fixed Number of Messages and time (in seconds) in Maximum Accumulation Time (seconds).
