Access Toolbar

An Access Toolbar is located at the top right corner of each chart and by default contains the following icons:

  • Data:

    • You can export data for the specified chart in one of the following formats:

      • HTML

      • CSV

      • XML

    • SPC Results and SPC Results as XML: View the SPC results in either HTML or XML format

    • Data Points of Upper Chart and Lower Chart Data Points: View data points of either upper or lower chart

    • Current Values: Displays the current values for all the tags available in the query in a new window in HTML format

    • Statistics: Displays the statistical values for all the tags available in the query in a new window in HTML format

      Note Note

      Current Values and Statistics options are enabled only for queries that support these modes. In other words, these options are available only for Tag, PCo and Catalog queries.

  • Upper Chart Axes

    • Attributes: Displays the names and the values of the value column attributes

    • Comments: Displays the comments specific to the selected data point

    • Show All Comments: Displays all the comments in a separate dialog box. The comments relevant to upper or lower charts are displayed depending on whether the cursor is in upper or lower chart.

      Note Note

      The Show All Comments text appears when you right click anywhere on the chart.

    • Toggle Suppression Points: Select this checkbox to display the suppressed points

  • Lower Chart Axes

    All the descriptions are same as Upper Chart Axes.

  • Refresh Rate: This number, in seconds determines the duration after which the chart is redrawn or refreshed

  • Refresh Automatically: Refreshes the charts automatically as per the duration specified in the Refresh Rate

  • Show Legend: Displays the legend on your chart.

  • Show Tooltip: If selected, the chart displays the specification limits, user specification limits, comments, and selected attribute values for each data point.

    The configurations are displayed only if Show Spec. Limits, Show User Spec. Limits, Show Comments, Show Attributes, and Attribute Columns are selected. For more details, see i5SPCChart Chart Area.

  • Print: Opens the Print dialog box to print the chart

  • Glossy Effect: Displays the chart with a glossy finish. You can enable glossy effect for the i5SPCCharts in the Chart Area. For details, see i5SPCChart Chart Area.

Time Bar

To display or hide the time bar, choose Display TimeBar.

The chart area displays a time bar if the query data contains time based values. You can configure the date-time range using Date/Time Picker. The charts are refreshed accordingly based on the selected date-time ranges. The arrows on the time bar display the charts moved by full screen duration, quarter screen duration, or for the current data. You can define the date range, Start Date and End Date in the query template configuration or by using the Date/Time Picker in the time bar. The properties of the time bar are as follows:

  1. Slider: On moving the slider back and forth, the chart is refreshed using the data available on the slider. In other words, the graph is plotted based on real time data. On releasing the slider, the chart is refreshed with the current date and time available in the Date/Time Picker.

    You can zoom into the rendered charts to analyze the data in detail or to display microscopic view of the data. You can select a section of the data (subset) by moving the cursor on the timebar and view the data only for the selected timestamps (cursor positions) on the timebar.

  2. , : The double arrows button scrolls the chart forward or backward by full length of the initial duration.

  3. , : Single arrow button scrolls the chart forward or backward by quarter length of the initial duration.

  4. : Chart is plot for the current Start Date and End Date as configured in the query.

  5. Date/Time Picker: The Start Date/Time and End Date/Time displays the current date and time as selected by the time slider.
