You use the properties in the table below to display and configure the Western Electric Company (WECO) rule numbers in the upper chart of your i5SPC chart. For more information about WECO rule numbers, see WECO Rules.

Integration

You can display the appropriate WECO rule number next to data points that have alarms. If a point has multiple alarms, the WECO rule numbers appear in a comma-delimited format.

Sets the style of the alarm text to one of the following:

Plain

Bold

Alarm Text Delimiter

Sets the one-character string to be used as the delimiter for the alarm text

Alarm [1-49] Text Abbreviation

UpperAlarmTextAbbreviation.n [1-49]

String

(maximum of five characters)

Sets a string to be used as a replacement for the WECO rule number. If no string is specified, the number is used.

Note Note

The alarms 1-10 are common to both upper and lower charts. Alarms 11-19 are not available for either upper or lower charts. The alarms 20-49 are distributed between upper and lower charts. The alarm numbers displayed here are relevant only to upper charts. The missing alarm numbers are relevant to lower charts and are displayed under Lower Chart WECO Text.

Activities

You can set these properties for your i5SPC chart template on the Upper Chart WECO Texts screen in the SAP MII Workbench and change the parameter values using web page scripting.
