You use this function to configure the server scaling for your SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII) charts.
Based on the query template you enter, the system displays the associated column names.
The following table lists the server scaling properties for a chart:
Property Name | Parameter Name | Data Type | Use |
Min. Range Column | MinRangeColumn | String list | Define the data columns from a query to use to create the minimum pen scaling range for the y-axis legend. |
Max. Range Column | MaxRangeColumn | String list | Define the data columns from a query to use to create the maximum pen scaling range for the y-axis legend. |
Global Decimals | GlobalDecimals | Integer | Enter the number of decimal places to use for outputs on a chart. |
Global Min. Range | GlobalMinRange | Floating point | You can set this value when Use GlobalRanges is selected. |
Global Max. Range | GlobalMaxRange | Floating point | You can set this value when Use GlobalRanges is selected. |
Use Global Decimals | UseGlobalDecimals | Boolean | Select this checkbox if you want to use the global decimal precision for each data series on the chart. |
Use Global Ranges | UseGlobalRanges | Boolean | Select this checkbox to define the minimum and maximum ranges for each pen on the chart through the GlobalMinRange and GlobalMaxRange parameters. |
Use Global Auto. Scaling | GlobalAutoScale | Boolean | Select this checkbox to apply auto-scaling to all pens in the chart. |
Use Global Server Scaling | GlobalServerScaling | Boolean | Select this checkbox to base the minimum and maximum ranges on the values returned by the connector in its legend information. Only some tag connectors can provide the values. |
Use Zero-Based Scale | ZeroBasedScale | Boolean | If you select this checkbox, zero is the start of the minimum range when auto-scaling is enabled. |
You can set these properties for your iChart on the Server Scaling screen in the SAP MII Workbench and change the parameter values in individual applets using scripting.
