You use activities to group changes for source control in the SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII) Workbench.
You can create an activity to lock files to prevent users from modifying the same content at the same time. When you check out a file, the system prompts you to select an existing activity or create a new activity. When the activity is checked in, the changes are committed to the activity in NWDI. For more information, see Content Management.
We recommend that you use a naming convention for your company's activities to identify changes and maintain the transport of content across development tracks.
