You use the properties below to configure the specification limits for a line chart in SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII).
The following table lists the specification limit properties for the chart:
Property | Description |
---|---|
Allow Specification Limit Alarm | Checkbox that indicates if the specification limit alarm is on; it can only be used with line charts |
Upper Limit Column | Column value for the upper limit |
Center Line Column | Column value for the center line |
Lower Limit Column | Column value for the lower limit |
Upper Limit | Point that defines the upper limit line |
Center Line | Point that defines the center line |
Lower Limit | Point that defines the lower limit line |
Color of Upper Limit Line | Color of the upper limit line; default is red |
Center Line Color | Color of the center line; default is green |
Lower Limit Line Color | Color of the lower limit line; default is red |
You can either enter the values in the Upper Limit, Center Line, and Lower Limit fields manually or you can specify the limits by choosing the columns in Upper Limit Column, Central Line Column, and Lower Limit Column. Also, you can specify the colors for different limits.
If you have entered both column names in the limitation fields and values in the fields, the former gets precedence while rendering the chart. In other words, when both column names and values are entered in the limit fields, the specification limit line is drawn for the column selected and not for the entered value.
You set these properties for your line chart on the Specification Limits screen in the SAP MII Workbench and change the parameter values for individual charts using scripting.
