You use the context menu security properties to control point suppression and comments on your SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII) statistical process control (SPC) charts.

Features

You use the following properties to configure context menu security for your SPC charts:

  • Allow Point Suppression

    You can select this checkbox to suppress data points on the SPC chart. The parameter name is EnablePointSuppression.

  • Allow Comment Editing

    You can select this checkbox to allow the addition, update, and deletion of comments on the SPC chart. The parameter name is EnableComments.

  • Point Suppression Roles

    Displays the roles that have permission to suppress or show points on the SPC chart. By default, the SAP_XMII_User role is assigned.

  • Comment Editing Roles

    Displays the roles that have permission to add, update, and delete comments on points on the SPC chart. You can set the roles for iSPCCChart applet using CommentEditingRoles parameter with a comma delimited list. By default, the SAP_XMII_User role is assigned.

  • Available Roles

    Displays the list of roles that you can assign to the Point Suppression Roles or Comment Editing Roles lists.

Activities

You can set these properties for your SPC chart template on the Context Menu Security screen in the SAP MII Workbench and change the parameter values for individual applets using scripting.

When you import existing templates, which do not have the point suppression and comment editing role parameters, the system automatically assigns the following roles to the parameters:

  • SAP_XMII_Administrator

  • SAP_XMII_Developer

  • SAP_XMII_User
