You use an action as a processing step in an SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII) transaction.

You can use actions to perform tasks, such as the following:

  • Data input and output

  • Web input and output

  • Transformations

  • Data calculations

  • E-Mail communications

  • Flow control

Actions can be grouped in a sequence. Sequences are executed from top to bottom, left to right.
