Allows you to execute command queries, such as SQL inserts, updates, and deletes without performing an http post. The SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII) iCommand can also hold a data set. Therefore, you can load a data query template into a hidden object on the screen and use that data in DHTML, HTML tables, other applets, and so on. The iCommand is more efficient than a grid since there are no display elements to process and the applet does not initially execute the template query request.

SAP MII supports electronic signature and audit logging through the iCommand applet. This functionality enables end users to implement 21 CFR Part 11-compliant solutions. There are special settings in an iCommand applet display template for these functions.

Structure

You can configure iCommand properties on the General and Security screens of the SAP MII Workbench.
