You use this function to configure properties associated with the data series (pen) colors on your SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII) charts.

Note Note

Global settings take precedence over individual data series settings.

Features

The following table lists the properties for the data series on a chart:

Select the data series you want to configure.

Color

PenColor.1, PenColor.2, through PenColor.32

Color

Enter a color for each data series on the chart.

Type

PenType.1, PenType.2, through PenType.32

String

Select the graphical element (line, marker, bar, or stacked bar) to use for the returned value on the chart. This parameter applies to custom charts only.

Marker Style

PenMarkerStyle.1, PenMarkerStyle.2, through PenMarkerStyle.32

Integer

Enter 0 (none), 1 (circle), 2 (square), 3 (triangle), 4 (diamond), 5 (X), or 6 (cross) to define the shape of the data points on a marker line on the chart.

Decimals

Decimals.1 through Decimals.32

Integer

Define the number of decimal places to use when the system outputs data or labels for the data series.

Minimum Range

MinRange.1 through MinRange.32

Floating point

Enter the minimum range for the data series.

Maximum Range

MaxRange.1 through MaxRange.32

Floating point

Enter the maximum range for the pen.

Use Server Scaling

UseServerScaling.1 through UseServerScaling.32

Boolean

Select this checkbox to use the minimum and maximum ranges returned by the connector.

Automatically Scale

AutoScale.1 through AutoScale.32

Boolean

Select this checkbox to automatically scale the data series.

Violation Color

ViolationMarkerColor.1-32

Color

Indicates the color of the marker when a rule violation occurs.

Line Thickness

LineThickness.1-32

Integer

Determines how thick the line is.

Line Style

LineStyle.1-32

Integer

Determines the line style as follows:

  • 0 is solid

  • 1 is dashed

  • 2 is dotted

Show Y-Axis

ShowYAxis.1-32

Boolean

Determines if the Y-axis is displayed for the tag if multiple Y axes are displayed and automatic distribution is not used.

Orientation

YAxisOrientation.1-32

Integer

Determines the position of the Y axis as follows:

  • 0 is left

  • 1 is right

    Used when multiple Y axes are displayed and automatic distribution is not used.

Show Y-Axis Label

ShowYAxisLabel.1-32

Boolean

Determines if the label is displayed along the Y-axis.

Use Selected Pen for Label

UsePenForLabel.1-32

Boolean

If the checkbox is selected, the pen, or data series, name is displayed as the label. If the checkbox is not selected, the specified label in Y-Axis Label is displayed.

Y-Axis Label

YAxisLabel.1-32

String

The Y-axis label displayed if Use Selected Data Series for Label is not selected.

Activities

You set the following properties for your chart on the Data Series Details screen on the SAP MII Workbench. You can change these parameter values in individual applets using scripting.
