You use this action to connect to a services registry and search the services based on the following:

  • Classification

  • Physical systems

  • Service names

Integration

To use this action, you must configure the J2EE engine, on which SAP MII is running, to point to the services registry. For more information about this configuration, see Configuring a Central Services Registry in the SAP NetWeaver CE 7.1 EHP1 help at http://help.sap.com.

Features

When you configure the action, you enter search criteria to find services and view the following details:

  • Details

  • Service Endpoints

    The different implementations of the service that may be available

  • Classifications

    Classifications associated with the service

  • Physical System

    Details about the physical system that published the service on the service registry

The system passes the WSDL URL from the service to the Web Service action so you can select the interface and operation and configure the links in the Link Editor screen.

Activities

After you select a service on the initial configuration screen, you click Next to continue to the same screens used to configure the Web Service action.
