Mobile devices do not support full HTML browsers and have large screen sizes, so you must use special home pages to view data on these devices. If your mobile device supports session cookies, you can view your data in SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII) using mobile device home pages. If your device does not support session cookies, you can query SAP MII with a valid user name and password using a URL, such as http://<server:port>/XMII/Illuminator?QueryTemplate=ProdOutput&IllumLoginName=Admin&IllumLoginPassword=****.

Features

When you access SAP MII, the type of device is detected, and the appropriate logon page and home page are sent to your device. The system default mobile style sheet DynamicSimpleHTMLHomePage.xsl provides an HTML page of hyperlinks to a mobile device. Link objects assigned to the user on the Mobile Treetab page on the Navigationscreen are sent to the device.

Recommendation Recommendation

If you want to edit the default mobile style sheet, we recommend that you save a copy of it before making your changes.

End of the recommendation.

The content of the Web pages you are trying read must be suitable for your device. Dynamic content is not supported on all mobile devices; many micro-browsers do not support the full HTML specification and cannot run Java applets. SAP MII supports the transformation of its output to a format that is not dynamic so that it is accessible in micro-browsers. If dynamic content is included in your desktop home page, you can create a mobile style sheet to filter out the dynamic content and only include mobile device content.

Note Note

If the system does not recognize your mobile device, or if you cannot find an appropriate style sheet for your mobile device, the system uses the default desktop style sheet, DynamicHomePage.xsl. For further support, contact SAP.

End of the note.
