Configurations
You use the Configurations screen to do the following:
Import and export SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (SAP MII) configuration files. The files exported are XML files containing data about the various configurations done for different functions in SAP MII.
Transport your configurations from SAP MII system to another system using Enhanced Change and Transport System (CTS+).
You have been assigned appropriate permissions in the SAP User Management Engine in SAP ERP.
You have created a file called xmiibackup.zip, stored the exported configurations in it, and saved it in the location of your choice. For details on zip file creation, see the Activities section.
The xmiibackup.zip file may include the following files:

Recommendation
You should store exported configurations in a secure location since configurations can contain sensitive information.
An exported file may also include a [language abbreviation].xml file. If user localization terms exist, a related locale XML file appears in the xmiibackup.zip file. For example, en.xml appears for English and de.xml appears for German.
After exporting these configuration files, these files must be imported for different MII instances. In other words, you have to trigger the import of these exported files from the CTS+. You can access the import system queue and release the request from the CTS+. This action triggers the import and deployment of the transport request to the import system. The import function in the SAP MII systems does not need any action from your side. The SAP CTS ABAP system performs the import action.
On the SAP MII: Configurations screen, choose the configurations.
Enter any secure code in the Passphrase field.
Choose Export.
The File Download dialog box appears.
Save xmiibackup.zip to the location of your choice.
