  Specifying Partner Connections

Use

You want to use EDI processing for dangerous goods data.

Procedure

  1. In the SAP Easy Access menu, choose Start of the navigation path SAP menu Next navigation step Tools Next navigation step ALE Next navigation step ALE Administration Next navigation step Runtime Settings Next navigation step Partner Profiles End of the navigation path (transaction WE20).

    The Partner profiles screen appears.

  2. Choose Partner Type KU and then with the quick info text Create to create a partner number of partner type KU (customer) in the partner status Active .

  3. The following outbound parameters must be entered for the partner number:

    • Partner Role , for example SH, CR, Message Type DESADV, Basic type DELVRY06

    • Partner Role , for example, SH, CR, Message Type SHPMNT, Basic type SHPMNT04

In output control the specified data must be available for the following message types:

  • DESADV

    • Application V2 (shipping)

    • Message type LAVA

    • Process code DELV

  • SHPMNT

    • Application V7 (shipment)

    • Message type SEDI

    • Process code SHPM
