On this screen you provide information used to configure WIP database pools.

Fields

The following table describes fields requiring explanation:

Field

Description

Host

Enter the host name of the system on which WIP database for SQLSERVER or ORACLE is deployed.

Port

Enter the port number of the system on which WIP database for SQLSERVER or ORACLE is deployed.

WIP User

Enter the WIP user name. This user will be used for all communication between WIP database and SAP ME.

WIP Password

Enter the password associated with the WIP user.

Database Name

Enter the SQLSERVER database name.

Instance

Enter the SQLSERVER database instance name.

Note Note

Instance is optional; if you enter the instance value, port number will not be used.
